I have the privilege of joining Pearland Junior High East this year as the Director of Choirs. A little about me: I earned my Bachelors of Music Education from East Texas Baptist University and have taught at all levels K-12 in Germany, Texas, and New Mexico. I previously served in Pearland ISD as the Assistant Choir Director at Dawson High School and am excited to return to Pearland ISD. I am proud of Pearland's commitment to and reputation for musical excellence and I look forward to continuing to build Pearland Junior High East's choirs.

Fun facts: 

• I am mom to 5 amazing kids. 2 in college (Texas State University and the University of Texas), 1 in high school at PHS, and 2 at PJHE.
• I am a proud United States Air Force veteran! While serving in the Air Force, I had the opportunity to perform an Expeditionary Entertainer. I served as Tour Director and vocalist for Tops In Bue, performing 147 shows in 27 countries and 37 states. 
• I love to travel - I've visited 44 countries and 43 US states
• In my "other life" I was a corporate attorney. I earned a Juris Doctor from William and Mary Law School and an LL.M. from Texas A&M Law
